Onboarding Specialist

NewVista is currently seeking to hire an onboarding specialist to work in our recruiting department.

The onboarding specialist takes ownership of the onboarding process for new hires at all of our locations. In this role you will work directly with the Director of Recruitment, helping to move candidates through the process. You will be helping candidates complete their background checks, making sure all preboarding paperwork is complete, and that candidates are ready for their orienation start date.

Job Duties:

• Demonstrates excellent phone skills including inquiry calls, explanation of onboarding processes, scheduling appointments.
• Enters all candidates into Workday.
• Follows up daily on candidates to make sure all task are being completed in a timely manner.
• Communicates with facilities about their candidates and where they are in the onboarding process.
• Must be able to muli-task, and handle managing multiple candidates, and multiple facilities.

Job Requirements

Education

• Highschool Diploma

Work Experience

• Previous experience working with HR systems a plus.
• Previous HR experience a plus.
• Experience with computer systems like Excel, email, and CRM platforms a plus.

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.
