Winemaking Job at King Estate Winery
King Estate Winery seeks Wine Production Workers to join the Winemaking team. The Production crew
will assist the winemaking team in processing harvested grapes into juice to begin the winemaking
process. Wine production staff will participate in many aspects of production from grape to bottle and
include barrel work, juice/wine transfer and tank or barrel additions. Sanitizing equipment, running
crush equipment and other cellar work will be assigned. In addition wine production will perform
routine cellar chores, may operate pumps and filters to blend and clarify, will check and top tanks to
proper fill levels and may be required to assist with additives, mixing and/or testing levels, and
participate in bottling operations.
Knowledge and Requirements:
- Forklift experience desired but not required
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule during harvest season- overtime is a must
- Able to work in wet and/or cold environment while processing or sanitizing equipment.
