Water Transfer Tech Job Description
Title: Water Transfer Technician
Location: Jal, New Mexico, and Surrounding Areas
Schedule: 10/4 Rotation (10 days on 4 days off)
Hours: 10-12 hour shifts
Pay: For this role depends on experience within the range $30-35
Must have 3+ years’ experience in water transfer, and live within a 60-mile radius of Jal,
New Mexico.
Job Description:
Under general supervision, maintains and oversees all Frac Water Services equipment during the rigging up to ensure they are working properly and safely, and according to the specific requirements of the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determines equipment and best method to rig up according to the package selected by the customer
- SWD experience required
- Rig up equipment on site ensuring proper connection of all plumbing and electrical equipment
- Monitor equipment, operating conditions, meters, and gauges and troubleshooting accordingly
- Rig up/down transfer pipe
- Laying and picking up poly line, lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water transfer operations.
- Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport
- Is familiar with correct procedures and performs basic routine equipment maintenance in preparation for next job. Cleans and checks tools and equipment.
- Performs routine readings of equipment during rigging up to ensure equipment is performing according to customers’ requirements while always maintaining a safe operation
- Observes safe working practices, safety rules and regulations. Complies with Company safety policies and procedures. Corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports to Field Supervisor if not immediately correctable to gain assistance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
