The Warehouse Utility tech’s role will require the team member to SAFELY perform warehouse dock management functions, daily yard jockey functions, periodic loading functions, and as-needed training functions all while influencing a healthy, fun and efficient warehouse experience!

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
Compensation: $26.55
DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES)

• Maximize dock door utilization and line load opportunities, providing direction to Warehouse loaders and Palletizer drivers as needed
• Perform pick ticket processing
• Post goods issue for all outbound loads
• Receipt of inbounds/returns within 24 hours of arrival
• Maintain accuracy of Yard Management
• Communicate with Yard Jockeys and Carriers to enhance dock efficiency
• Maintain Dock Office at or above 90% 5s standard
• Resolve order and goods issue discrepancies
• Reconcile the expected goods
• Warehouse bin control and management
• Support product traceability and withdrawal reports
• Complete order exceptions as needed
• Proactively communicate within Warehouse Team and with other Departments for issue resolution and process improvements
• Analyze load patterns and optimize improvements
• Yard management which includes but not limited to: shuttling trailers from door to door. Preparing upcoming shifts trailers with all safety procedures completed and to load efficiently
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to manage multiple people, personalities, and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be flexible in working hours – overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shifts
• 2-3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse preferred
