Wafer Fab Operator - Test Job at onsemi
onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to work in the probe area of our cleanroom in East Fishkill, New York! As an Operator, you would be at the front lines of the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers into carriers for complete integrated circuits. In our probe area, these integrated circuits are tested. Then, the final products are found in popular high-tech devices, like smartphones, tablets, and even medical devices and self-driving cars!
For this position, no direct experience is necessary. The pay rate based on experience is $17.85 - $20.00

The responsibilities of a Wafer Fab Operator include:
- Adhering to all processes and procedures.
- Setting up and operating equipment per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Working in a team environment to meet production goals.
- Demonstrating the desire to learn and grow by achieving certifications.
- Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Stable and steady work history with at least one year of work experience
- Ability to stand or walk extensively
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Flexible to work days, nights, or weekends
