United Way of NWI AmeriCorps Part-Time Positions Job at AmeriCorps
Sponsored locally by the United Way of Porter County, AmeriCorps member’s primary duties involve serving schools and non-profits throughout Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Starke, and Marshall Counties in Northwest Indiana. AmeriCorps Member Roles: • School Tutors – Facilitate math and reading skills for elementary school students. • Career Advisors – Provide career preparation and skills for high school students. • Capacity Builders – Recruit volunteers and improve the volunteer programs of the host non-profit agency and build agency capacity.
