Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides indirect patient care in the ED.
- Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff, and medical staff.
- Implements directions from physicians and ER nursing staff.
Hours: 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Days
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent with one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital.
- Medical terminology course.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).
- Basic computer knowledge (required).
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
