Tri-Axle Dump Truck CDL Driver (FT) Job at The DePaul Group
Highway Materials, Inc. (under DePaul Group) is currently looking for experienced HAUL/DUMP TRUCK Tri-Axle Drivers with experience driving Manual Transmission.
Job Description:
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Deliver aggregates and blacktop materials to customers, pavers, shoulder machines, stone boxes, and construction sites.
- Communicate with dispatchers using 2-way radios and verbal communication with customers and internal personnel.
- Ability to read a map to navigate
- Must be able to complete logbooks, vehicle inspections, and site condition reports.
- Responsible for cleaning the bed of trucks from debris and keeping the rest of the truck clean.
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive a stick or Manual Transmission
- Must possess a valid CDL (endorsements a plus), a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT physical.
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations.
- Able to work various times during the day, night, or weekend hours, at various locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 Years of previous experience required.
