Looking for experienced Tower Technicians (Tech I, Tech II, and Tech III) who will install, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting coax and antenna; modify, ground and erect towers safely and efficiently. Our experienced techs are able to identify hazards and inspect equipment, and posseses the physical and mental abilities to perform on-site job functions, wear required personal protection equipment, and posesses the training to be an authorized climber while 100% supervised by a competent climber.

Position responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Under supervision follows instruction and direction from lead/supervisor the first time without needing consistent follow-up
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of coax and antenna, and grounding and erection of towers
  • Completes work in a timely and efficient manner according to safety procedures
  • Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
  • Adequately and immediately follow direction from a competent climber at all times
  • Can utilize basic hand tools, has a sound knowledge of ground work, and has the physical and mental ability required to be an authorized climber
  • Must pass the required training to be an authorized climber and climb under the supervision of a competent climber, and deemed ready to work at heights.
  • Punch list generation and resolution during the course of normal project schedule and in advance of any customer inspections

Essential skills and experience:

  • Must have completed DOT physical, First Aid and CPR Certifications, OSHA 10, ComTrain certification, basic rigging, crane signals, RF safety, and hazcom training. Will provide training first week of work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain high job standards and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work effectively with minimal supervision as well as in a team
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and hand tools
  • Honesty, integrity, loyalty, and the ability and willingness to make the company’s best interests the number one priority
  • High attention to detail and excellent proof-reading capabilities
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of practices in the wireless industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies
  • Ability to interpret basic drawings and plans
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and verbal instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
