As a Tool and Die Maker Apprentice you’ll receive the hands-on training you need to
build a Tool and Die Maker career. You will work under a journeyman’s guidance to design, build and repair trim tools and blow molds. You’re constantly learning as production shifts from one thing to another. It’s an important job at a place you can build a real career. Get your career started today!

What this work looks like:

• Design, build, repair and maintenance of molds and tooling
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tooling machines on and offline
• Plan the setup and operation of all machine shop tools with consideration of materials, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants, and machine feeds and speeds
• Determine inspection specifications
• Robotic systems troubleshooting, adjustments, fabrication, and basic integration
• Cut and weld different types of materials
• Complete all necessary documentation

Skills needed to win:

• Must be enrolled in a Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program
• Positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work effectively on a team and independently
• Available to work weekends and overtime as needed
• High school Diploma or GED
