Overview:
This role will support third party risk management through contract reviews for new and existing vendors. More specifically, the third-party risk team supports all areas within the Bank and facilitates contract reviews through coordination with the Bank’s subject matter experts (SMEs) and Legal. This role will be part of the risk management group at the Bank.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist business units with business terms and identification of contract SLAs
  • Participate in the tracking, approval, and execution of contracts by acting as a point of contact to internal and external parties
  • Collaborate with Legal and subject matter experts to ensure contracts are meeting risk’s standards
  • Manage the inventory of contracts through third party risk’s system of record
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of the contracts and initiate renewals, amendments, and terminations as required.
  • Monitor and track contract SLAs.
Must Haves:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with vendor contracts and familiarity with contract language
  • Paralegal, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of contract frameworks and contract management
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to design and implement processes and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication (written and oral)
Nice to Haves:
  • Background in Banking, financial institution, or fintech is preferred
  • General understanding of risk, information security, business continuity/resumption, compliance, and legal are preferred skills
Technology Skills:
  • MS Office applications
  • Salesforce experience is preferred
