Responsibilities
The tennis maintenance technician is a part-time position responsible for providing regular maintenance, cleaning and set up of tennis and pickleball courts. Maintain grounds, keeping fencing and wind screens in operating condition. Maintain ball machines and all other machinery used to groom and repair courts.
Primary Responsibility: Responsible for maintaining all clay tennis courts in impeccable shape. This includes but is not limited to: paddle courts, pickle ball courts and our beautiful clay courts! This position is also responsible for the facilities around the courts.
- Essential Duties:
- Communicate court conditions to pro staff in the morning.
- Groom and line courts in the morning.
- Inspect and repair court lines.
- Fill water coolers with fresh water and ice each morning.
- Restock towels and cups each morning and afternoon.
- Empty all trash and towel receptacles in and around tennis facility in the morning and afternoon.
- Maintain nets.
- Check windscreens and fences.
- Address weeds and algae that grows on the tennis courts.
- Wipe down benches and awnings on the court
- Clean out shoe trays.
- Other duties assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications and requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift-up to 50lbs and perform physical maintenance of the courts.
- Operate golf cart and other equipment.
- Work primarily outside. Will be exposed to sun, rain, heat and cold.
- Requires crouching, kneeling, climbing, standing and walking.
- Hours: 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM – 5 days a week (includes one weekend day). PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST
