CSEngineering is looking to add a Technical Writer II to our growing team! This position will support the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Division.
CLIENT OVERVIEW
NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and stays current on systems engineering best practices while remaining agile when translating mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SEI also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Outlined below are the job responsibilities for this position:
- Staff complex packages and adjudicating content.
- Analyze critical command and control requirements and operational concepts; highly competent at articulating interoperable capabilities into NC2 and NC3 operational requirements utilizing national, DOD, and CJCS guidance.
- Communicate findings via a broad range of written and verbal presentations.
- Use technical expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to solve complex problems.
Security Clearance: Top Secret
- BS or BA degree in one of the following fields: English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or educational equivalent
- At least two (2) years of experience:
- Analyzing and synthesizing multiple interagency products such as reports, meeting minutes, and speech transcripts in order to create requirements to support the mission.
- Developing Command responses for Senior-level decision documentation (similar to CONOPS, Integrated Priority List, Analysis of Alternatives) at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or DOD OSD levels; and staffing complex packages and adjudicating content.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, Eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Experience with nuclear C3 missions, systems, and operational procedures
- Experience supporting USSTRATCOM.
