Due to a large increase in help desk tickets and device deployments, Core BTS seeks an IT Technician to provide troubleshooting and support in an education setting for a minimum of 4 months. The support technician will work under the direction of a Technology Manager.
Primary duties include:
- PC and peripheral support (i.e., computers, tablets, document cameras, interactive whiteboards, printers, etc.)
- Hardware repair / replacement
- Initial setup / configuration
- Driver / software upgrades
- Operating System / Application support
- System imaging
- Miscellaneous help desk ticket remediation
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of technical support experience, education, certifications, or a combination, along with a desire to learn and motivation to excel in a customer service-centric environment.
Experience and/or education in PC/Mac environments, Chromebooks, personal devices, and virtual environments are highly desired.
