Teardown Technician Job at Insight Global
Represent Value Engineering team and perform value engineering and value analysis of finished product teardown to create Bill of Material for analysis of individual component raw materials, primary and secondary manufacturing process, function and manufacturing assembly.
- Performs product dry run performance test (if required)
- Product teardown to individual component level (Consumer electronics / Appliance products of indoor/outdoor)
- Material analysis through FTIR/XRF equipment
- Create Bill of Material with reference to sub assembly level and at individual part level
- Support product should cost function
- Competitive product benchmarking activity
- Work is not a limited scope, typically involves complex products or specifications
- Work mostly unsupervised

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
