Title: Paraprofessional
Available Locations: Visalia Unified School District
Job Type: F/T – 30 hours a week General Hours are Between 7:30am- 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
· Assist students on a 1:1 or group basis within a classroom setting
· Must be open to Mod/Severe Behaviors
· Implement individuals’ IEP & BIP- MUST 1 year experience in SPED classroom or behavior support
· Work with student’s grade K – 12th
· Must be open to any location in the school district
· Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
Training:
· Autism training
· 4-hour online training in ABA basics
· AAC training, if needed

Qualifications:
· HS Diploma + 60 college credits or higher
· CPI Training Required
· Experience working with mod/severe behaviors
· Experience with AAC (Preferred, but the district will train if needed)
· ABA experience (preferred, not required)
· Covid vaccination is required.

· Criminal background check & LiveScan
· TB test
