Responsible for general sweeping/scrubbing, emptying trash cans, sorting recycling materials and disturbing drinking water (5gal bottles) around the 1.3million square feet Distribution Center, must be to multi-task and able to assist maintenance techs to perform a variety of duties. Adheres to accepted analytical principles in working safety when operating power equipment.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities
- Operate power equipment (Scrubber, Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, etc..).
- Empty Trash Cans/Recycle.
- Ensure that the yards are free of debris and hazards.
- Ensures that all Heavy-Duty Cleaning is done around the Distribution Center.
- Power wash sidewalks as needed
- Maintain Sweeper/Scrubber drain area clean
- Assist other maintenance techs when needed.
- Employee is responsible for safety that includes following all safety rules and following proper Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Read, write, add subtract, multiply and divide – understand implied instructions.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Job related knowledge should include the ability to operate power equipment.
- Ability to learn and comprehend distribution/production business is required.
