Support Specialist - Help Desk

• Responsible for troubleshooting and assessing software and hardware problems.
• Responsible for reporting results, following escalation process, and dispatching issues to the proper channels.
• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from end-users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other IT related services.
• Track, follow-up and communicate to appropriate parties on outstanding issues and resolutions.
• Work cooperatively with end users when issues arise with IT related services.
• Resolve IT related issues through recognition, research, isolation, dispatch and follow-up.
• Understand when issues need to be escalated and to whom they should be escalated to. Continue to communicate status with end users.
• Manage IT hardware including:
  • Standards
  • Software
  • Repair
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory
• Printer support for corporate office and facilities
• Support pharmacy and corporate fax machines
• First level of support for KMS connectivity
• Manage network users accounts
• Corporate security
  • FOB
  • Keys
  • Surveillance Cameras
• Other duties / tasks as assigned
