At The Coca-Cola Company, we are a global business that operates on a local scale, in every community where we do business. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and managing data to provide key insights for the supply chain of ingredients, which includes annual negotiations. You’ll also be responsible for procurement and supplier relationship management for minor suppliers, administrative support, and assisting the senior managers with their day to day work. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding critical thinking skills that can manage complex internal and external relationships and supply chain situations.

What You’ll Do for Us

• Collaborates and communicates information to supply chain management of the plants, manages issue resolution, and may attend operational meetings

• Investigates Materials At Risks and alerts relevant buyers and plant leadership as needed

• Participates and occasionally leads supply chain optimization or ingredient defect problem solving initiatives

• Ensure data is up to date and accurate. Update key performance metrics, tools, and data systems including pricing and supplier data

• Assists senior members of the team to manage day to day work including contingency programs, supplier communications, payment issues, attaining supplier documentation, productivity projects, supply chain disruptions and new supplier approvals.

• Executes periodic supplier relationship and internal meeting activities to improve service and take advantage of supplier innovation

• Manage data reporting that includes forecasts, purchase history, ingredient availability, and stock reports

• Managing activities with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies (e.g. audits) and legal compliance (Master Supply Agreements, Price schedules, UISS letters, NDAs, Material Transfer, insurance certificates, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related field

• 2+ years of experience of procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, and/or data management experience. Experience with negotiations is preferred

• Exceptional business communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., best practices, policies) for one or more supplier industries. Ability to provide guidance to suppliers for cost improvements and to incorporate new technologies

• Ability to read and interpret contractual documentation. Knowledge of contract terms, applications and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements. Ability to explain requirements contained in agreements

• Knowledge of products, commodities or services (e.g., ingredients, packaging, logistics services, Coca-Cola products and services) and their related industries. Knowledge of all primary and supporting industries that impact the supply chain. Ability to research markets and synthesize findings for application in decision-making process and analytical work

• Making customers (external and internal) and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with the customer

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Note: This position will require working in the office 2 days a week.
