Major Responsibilities

Alcyon Technical Services located at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio is hiring a Supervisor to lead the Property Management team within our Logistics Group.

• Supervise the Property Management and Supply Operations functions of the Technical Information, Administrative and Logistics Services 2 (TIALS 2) Contract.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assign resources needed to complete the annual equipment inventory.
• Report inventory details for controlled and capital equipment.
• Oversee the receipt and warehousing of excess property.
• Manage the Temporary Inactive Equipment Storage (TIES) Program.
• Coordinate and track inbound and outbound loans of government property.
• Process requests for utilization of excess and/or surplus property.
• Process requests for eligible items for donation.
• Ensure excess property is posted for GSA sales in a timely manner.
• Process scrap documents for proper signature.
• Conduct and report results for the annual precious metals inventory.
• Conduct and report results for the annual hangar inventory.
• Ensure binning and issuing of stores stock items occur daily.
• Meet customer supply demands by utilizing the Glenn Supply Management System (GSMS) , Special Gas Management System (SGMS) and the Supply Management System (SMS) in SAP.
• Warehouse and manage stores stock items to ensure protection and preservations of stored items.
• Implement quality controls to ensure bin accuracy.
• Oversee Purchasing Agents work activities to ensure items are procured and received according to customer requirements and schedules.
• Perform routine quality audits of inbound supplies to ensure products meet purchase order specifications.
• Ensure Central Chemical Storage Facility operations are covered according to schedule.
• Ensure chemical and gases are managed according to safety requirements. Continually seek and implement actions to improve safety for storage and handling.
• Manage systems to ensure cradle to grave management of vendor owned cylinders.
• Ensure all vendor owned cylinders are, barcoded, tracked, and reconciled.
• Oversee tool crib operations. Ensure records, tools, equipment and other property are managed according to customer requirements.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

Education: BS/BA Degree in a Business or Technical field. (In lieu of degree, two years of experience may be substituted for each year of formal education).

Experience: Ten years of related experience, four of which to be in a supervisory capacity.
