Key Duties/Responsibilities

Follow existing lesson plans to provide instruction to assigned scholars

Applies principles of learning theory by using appropriate resources available at Rowe

Responsible for establishing positive learning standards for scholars

Maintains accurate attendance records

Encourages scholar growth in self-discipline
Ideal Skills/Traits

Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements

Knowledge of principles and practices of teaching

Ability to understand the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional patterns of scholars

knowledge of classroom and behavior management techniques

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education/Experience

Proof of Professional Educator License or Substitute Teaching License

Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred

Compensation
