Pay: $13 - $15 per hour

Schedule: M- TH 7:45 am - 5:45 pm & Fridays and Saturdays as needed

Due to this continued growth, we currently have an opportunity available for a Sterilization Technician for our Exton, PA pediatric dental office! This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a sterilization technician, you will receive on the job training to prepare you for a career as a dental assistant.

Responsibilities:

Sterilization Technicians assist the dental care team with the following patient care duties:

  • Prepare work areas for treatments and procedures
  • Sterilize dental instruments
  • Check sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
  • Deliver tools to specified locations in the office
  • Disinfect and sterilize tools, equipment, chairs, counters and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washers
  • Maintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is low
  • Stock dental supplies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background clearances required to work with pediatric patients
