Job Description
Qualifications:
- Full-time degree seeking undergraduate
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- B+ or better in courses coached
- At least 1 Reference from MHU faculty or staff
- Sound conduct standing
- Commitment to collaborative learning
- Flexibility to commit 3-5 hours / week to Academic Coach responsibilities
Compensation:
- $10 / hour including
o Individual tutoring
o Group study sessions as necessary
o Required trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-to-1 individual tutoring in courses for which qualified (B+ or better). Provide group study sessions as necessary
- Provide information on campus resources as needed, (how to seek out advising, office hours, counseling center, career center, etc.)
- Attend training opportunities as available and when required
- Work with SSS staff on projects related to student success
- Other duties as assigned
