Stant is hiring for a Skilled Trade Maintenance Technician located in the Connersville area.

Skilled Trade Maintenance Technician Key Functions:

• Install and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. ( manual lathe/mill/grind work) Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repair of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints and work requests to perform required maintenance and service.
• Troubleshoot/establish root cause analysis for down equipment, replace/repair parts, and confirm all repairs.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Possess basic fabrication skills.( cutting/welding/assembly)
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
