6+ Month Contract
Days/Shift Times: M-F 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Responsibilities:
-Member of the Support Services Group
-Receive & ship materials and samples
-Sample receipt and log-in
-Perform sample/supply pick-ups and deliveries as needed
-Deliver samples to proper laboratories
-Package and ship samples & supplies both domestically and -internationally
-Understand and follow proper spills / emergency cleanup procedures
-Properly label all materials
-Maintain inventories of expendable supplies as assigned
-Maintain housekeeping standards in the Support Services Area
-Assist Facilities as assigned
-Complete all other additional assignments, as required

General Requirements
-Ability to understand and follow safe handling procedures for hazardous chemicals
-Some chemical / background or equivalent knowledge preferred
-Must have initiative and be self-motivated
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills
-Must be able to work in a team environment, be organized and multitasking
-Dedicated to quality and accuracy
-Computer skills such as Word and Excel required
-Ability to learn how to use commercial shipping software such as those provided by UPS & FEDEX

Other Requirements
- Ship, receive and deliver supplies, materials and equipment
- Ability to Lift and Carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Ability to follow all work instructions and safety protocols.
- Work safely and utilize all required PPE
- Escalates any potential safety or quality concerns.
- Ability to understand the properties and hazards associated with chemicals.
- Compliance to all Air Liquide safety practices and procedures

Educational Requirements
-High school diploma or GED required

**Must be able to pass both drug and background assessments**
