POSITION TITLE: Turn Supervisor, Burns Harbor, IN
ORGANIZATION: Phoenix Services LLC

The Shift Supervisor will be an integral part of the site's leadership. The Shift Supervisor will support the General Manager, the Burns Harbor production leadership team, overall production efficiencies, and most importantly, its workforce as it relates to employee engagement, employee retention, and morale.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Answers phones in professional manner, direct calls
• Files, creates and maintains spreadsheets containing shift data
• General office maintenance; miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
• Maintains detailed records of incoming/outgoing loads that cross the scales and prepares reports as needed
• Maintains work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition at all times
• Redirect workers multiple times throughout shift, according to customer needs
• Advise employees on daily job duties and finalize paperwork
• Able to work swing shifts, and Holidays
• Coordinate with maintenance and mill services to ensure equiptment is maintained properly and repaired in a timely manner

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Management experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Reliability, enthusiasm, teamwork.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; work may require sitting/standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Reliable personal transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
