Server Job at Ground Round at River's Edge
The Ground Round at River's Edge in Oshkosh is seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to join our team as a Server. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts available. If you love coming into work with a smile on your face and working in a fun, fast-paced environment, this is the place for you! We are offering a $150 bonus after 90 days.
Job Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm, friendly smile
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes, make suggestions, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and service
- Process guests’ orders and ensure all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner. Communicate with front and back of house staff to ensure guest satisfaction with the food and service
- Observe guests to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service and respond to any additional requests
- Clear and reset tables at the end of each course and upon completion of the meal
- Prepare guest checks
- Maintain superior standards of quality, service, and cleanliness in the restaurant and service area. Consistently maintain a neat, organized and clean workspace and uniform.

Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to operate a cash register.
- Ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, bend, twist and stand repeatedly
