In Claims Technology, we are looking for a Scrum Master to bring their passion and agile expertise to help enable our skilled teams of Engineers.
The work we do in Claims Tech is at the heart of what our customers need from their insurance company. We enable claims representatives to handle each claim with the speed, efficiency, and expertise that our customers need. All of this, while working with modern tools and technologies amongst high performing teams.
In this role you will:
  • Serve as scrum master and coach 1-2 teams: facilitating transparency, inspection, and adaption
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and innovation in processes
  • Champion Agile, its roles, events, and artifacts to help the teams and stakeholders understand their value
  • Manage interdependencies between teams
  • Work with peers, Product Owners and managers to continue to evolve our teams, grow their expertise and resolve any obstacles in their way
  • Observe & provide consistent and impactful feedback for to individuals and teams
  • The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience and is passionate about Agile, continuous improvement and is invigorated by challenges
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, concepts, and methodologies
  • Agile or SCRUM certification or equivalent training and experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to leverage expertise and enthusiasm for Agile to energize those around you
  • Enjoys coaching and mentoring
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills
  • Strong influencing, and relationship management skills
  • A curiosity about a teams' dynamic and understanding the people you work with
  • Experience with JIRA
