Position: School Psychologist Location: District Schedule: 2023-2024 School Year Salary: Per Teachers ContractTo Start: August 28, 2023 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date)Qualifications: ?Licensed by DESE as School Psychologist, required ?Licensed by DESE as School Social Worker/Adjustment Counselor preferred?Sheltered English Immersion endorsement required?Excellent organizational and communication skills?Knowledge of Mass. Special Education regulations?Ability to utilize various computer software programs - student database (X2), MS Office, Google Apps, etc.?Ability to collaborate with colleagues and ability to function as part of a team.?Experienced writing IEP goals and objectives?Experienced as an IEP team member?CPI training and certification preferred?Bilingual preferredResponsibilities: ?Administer cognitive and achievement standardized assessments ?Write IEP goal and objectives?Involvement in Special Education Team Meetings, START, guidance meetings and other student related issues as needed?Provide individual and/or group counseling to students on a weekly basis as necessary?Intervene during crisis situations and make appropriate referrals?Consult with administrators, nurse, parents, teacher and community providers?Attend IEP and 504 meetings as needed?Develop protocols for teachers for dealing with crisis at school?Attend department meetings, faculty meetings, and community meetings?Serve on School Crisis Team
