AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials, but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Representative, you will perform inside and outside sales functions and provide customer support to current and potential customers over the phone and in person. You will demonstrate, quote, and sell highly technical products for the material grain handling industry. You need to listen to potential clients’ needs and explain how our product can satisfy those needs. You will demonstrate in extensive, technical detail how our Company product is better than that of the competition. Maintain contact with customers to ensure that their needs have been met and to assist with any additional problems that may arise well after the purchase. In addition, you will work with engineering and research and development to bring Hi Roller’s products in line with customer expectations.

The Team

The sales team consist of the Sales and Marketing Director, 4 Sales Representatives and a Sales Administrative Assistant. The sales team members will at times interact with the Drafting Team, Purchasing Manager, and the Production Supervisor when working with a customer on the conveyor system that is being purchased. The Sales Representative will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

Listed below are the key functions and responsibilities of the Sales Representative.

  • Effectively manages sales territory and maximizes business potential. Drives new customer business through networking, referrals, and cold calling. Conducts sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Strategizes with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities. Develops strategies and provides feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
  • Executes sales strategy within existing territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Analyzes customer account information, performs rate analysis, analyzes. and resolves billing issues.
  • Performs tasks such as system data entry, preparation of RFO’s, equipment delivery, inventory tracking, literature stocking, and writing and sending correspondence.
  • Works with customers to provide sales support and customer service over the phone and in person. Promotes and explains products to the businesses and handles billing questions.
  • Completes rate and proposal presentations.
  • Assists sales staff in professionally responding to current and potential customer inquiries.
  • Assists with trade show and tabletop set-up and staffing. Represent the Company in trade organizations.
  • Continually enhances knowledge of Hi Roller products and services in order to provide quality sales support and respond to customer requests. Ensures proper service levels are maintained.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, sales & marketing or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in sales, or production leadership required. Knowledge of grain handling material systems and pricing preferred.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service, problem solving skills and basic math skills.
  • Must be detailed and organized, results oriented, maintain confidentiality, be able to handle all types of customers and have good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel and Made 2 Manage accounting software.
