Summary
The purpose of a Safety Trainer/Verifier is to work with all associates to ensure that authorized, affected, and awareness level trainings are completed and current in accordance with all federal, state, local and company requirements,.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-job training and follow-up on Lock Out Tag Out and Powered Industrial Trucks each quarter for all Authorized Level Associates
- Maintain necessary paperwork and documentation for the new hire ramp-in process.
- Oversee all daily activities which take place in each area of responsibility. Know and comunicate all quality and production goals to associates and achieve them.
- All Maintenance Safety Training is current.
- Performs administrative duties to track completion of training, scheduling of classes and resources, compile and prepare statistical information on training program status.
- Hold the ability and skill to perform all jobs of each position within their area.
Minimum Education
PREFERRED: 1) HS Diploma/GED preferred
Experience Preferred
REQUIRED: 1) Must not have any active disciplines; 2) must not have more than 2.5 occurences; 3) must be able to speak, read and write English; and 4) must have good math skills
