Safety and Rescue Volunteers Job at Isanti County
Safety & Rescue supports our local law enforcement departments by assisting with medical calls, traffic accidents, event security, and storm and weather related emergencies.
We encompass members from all walks of life including retired fire fighters, retired military personnel, parents or family of people in law enforcement, nurses, first responders, EMTs, former licensed officers and many who just want to serve their community.
Within the first year of service, of our members receive all required training and necessary clothing and equipment.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class D Minnesota driver's license
- 18 years of age or older
- Good physical shape
- Must pass a background check
- Resident of Isanti County
- Ability to complete required training
- Willing to donate a minimum of 10 hours per month
- Current e-mail address
- Must own a smart-phone for paging purpose
Supplemental Information
Final appointment is contingent upon the applicant passing a background investigation including a criminal history search. Costs of the background will be paid for by Isanti County.
While working in a volunteer position the incumbent is not eligible for county paid benefits.
