Collier RV is looking for a full-time sales professional to help our customers through the RV buying experience. We need a motivated, intelligent person who wants to learn, get better, and help people. No sales experience is required! Our experienced staff will be there every step of the way to help onboard and train a new hire.

As you may already know, RV sales are on the rise! RV ownership is at a record high with an estimated 11.2 million households owning an RV. Individuals and families have chosen the RV lifestyle to reconnect with nature and their families in a socially distanced and safer form of travel. Collier RV is a family-owned and operated dealership sitting on 12 acres of property in Rockford, Illinois. Founded in 1961 by Ed Collier Sr., Collier RV has grown into one of the largest and most successful RV dealerships in the state. Distinguished by our giant indoor showroom, state-of-the-art service facilities, and huge parts department, Collier RV is an ideal choice for RV buyers. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
This job has the potential for very high income while working reasonable hours. Most of our salespeople work around 40 hours a week, with two days off each week. Earning potential: this can be and should be a six-figure job. This year, multiple members of our sales team earned over six figures. This is who we are looking to add to the team. The culture is professional, yet relaxed. We have several long-term employees who have enjoyed working here for many years.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Salespeople at Collier RV are responsible for being the public face of the dealership. They will be responsible for maintaining a positive attitude, professional appearance, interacting with our awesome customers, learning/understanding the products we sell, and being motivated to continually improve at their profession.
Day-to-day responsibilities include working with customers to find the ideal RV, prospecting, maintaining and updating customer records, partnering with our marketing department to produce videos and sales content, working with finance and service departments to ensure optimal customer experience, and training on product knowledge.
