We are Silver Eagle Refining, Inc. and we are presently seeking a Rotation Specialist/Pump Mechanic for our Woods Cross, UT location. Responsibilities will include ensuring all rotating equipment is repaired and running for long term reliability, and that all repairs are met to standards of the refinery. This may include tear down, repair, rework, inspect and modify equipment as needed on compressors, vertical in-line pumps, horizontal pumps. Ensure that all repairs performed or pump mechanic work that has been completed is reliable. Complete inspection reports, able to determine replacement components or advise to replace. Can solve problem on equipment getting to root cause of failure.

Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment, assisting in general maintenance as requested. Able to communicate effectively to solve problems with peers and direct reports in a professional manner. Always seen as a team player and cooperative. Ability to work both independently and in a group environment. ability to be flexible and multi-task based on workflow demands. Is able to work overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will have five years' experience and be qualified at repair/rebuild of rotating equipment. Forklift experience strongly preferred, should be able to conduct general forklift maintenance. We are seeking a safety conscious individual who will maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, five years equivalent working experience, construction equipment experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a definite asset.
