We currently are seeking Retail Assistant Manager(s ) or Manager(s) to join our team. For full-time employees, we offer health insurance, paid time off, a retirement plan with 3% company match and the chance to make a difference for our customers while you grow your career.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you are responsible for managing store operations, establishing and maintaining customer service, understanding customer needs to sell high end products such as pools, spas, and outdoor furniture that helps customers enhance their outdoor spaces. You are accountable for managing store colleagues to maximize the customer experience and drive sales through merchandising, questioning, connecting, follow through and closing sales. You will produce consistent and high-quality results that enhance and promote our company's brand and reputation.

More Details

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
• Manage a team of retails store associates and sales people, including scheduling, training, staff development, individual and team coaching, and performance management.
• Analyze and measure sales results; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
• Merchandising and product placement skills.
• Ensure appropriate product knowledge, benefits and features, ability to speak to service after sales.
• Comparison shop and report results; share information with management and make appropriate price adjustments.
• Review product and consumer trends, make recommendations and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable maintaining displays and keeping store stocked with product.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree a plus or equivalent real-world experience.
• At least 5 years of work-related experience in retail store environment.
• Previous swimming pool industry experience, required.
• Proven excellent verbal and communication skills, flexible team-oriented individual.
