RETAIL INVENTORY COORDINATOR

WORK SUMMARY:

Organizes inventory for the Trust retail operation at the Merchandise Center and three shop locations. Tracks sales against inventory quantitites, order fulfilments, merchandise transfers and retail phone sales. Travel to all public visitation sites may be required. Weekend and evening hours are required on occasion. Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.

DUTIES:

• Receives, packaged and unpackaged merchandise to be inventoried.
• Receives and ships deliveries using shipping software to include package labeling and returns.
• Uses carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the warehouse. Assembles cardboard boxes for shipping.
• Fills orders received from online orders including, but not limited to, pulling requested products and prepare for shipping/order processing.
• Must maintain accurate inventory records in trust datbase.
• Ensures the appropriate inventory is allocated to support sales at each Trust shop.
• Coordinates annual inventory for yearly audit.
• Must have great attention to detail, strong organizaitonal skills and provide above average customer service.
• Additional general warehouse duties, as assigned
• Must be able to lift 15-20lbs maximum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Position requires excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience in warehouse, retail, or other general labor with proven results preferred.

ENVIRONMENT:

Central administrative office is accessible; house museum sites are multi-level work areas not accessible to the mobility impaired. Position requires frequent computer and phone use. Workplace is a smoke- and drug-free environment. Travel to off-site locations necessary. Occasional weekend and evening hours required. Workplace is smoke- and drug-free. Equal opportunity employer.
