POSITION SUMMARY - Provide awesome service with a friendly smile for our equally awesome hotel guests. Sell and serve food and drinks in a professional manner. Starting hourly wage of $10 plus tips.
Our restaurant serves morning breakfast daily from 6:30 am to 10 am and evening dinner & room service Monday through Saturday 5:00 pm to 10 pm. Functions rooms provide opportunities for additional breakfast, luncheon & dinner shifts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Understands and sells the restaurant menu
· Must be able to describe and sell the food & beverage items
· Displays customer service skills in a positive manner
· Interacts well with hotel guests and customers many who are repeat visitors.
· Must have excellent communication skills
· Multi-task oriented
· Clear & reset tables
· Ability to use Micros POS a plus
· Basic reading & writing skills
· Basic mathematical skills
· Must be able to make change.
· Follows safe food handling procedures.
· Follows cooking and sanitation guidelines in place by Hilton Garden Inn brand.
· Performs all other duties at the request of the F&B/ hotel management.
· Regular attendance is necessary to accomplish the Essential Functions
EDUCATION/TRAINING - Basic academic education (high school diploma or equivalent). ServeSafe and RAMP certifications a plus.
EXPERIENCE – 6 months to 1 year preferred, we will train those interested in a new career!
