Pennington Biomedical Research Center
, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Specialist in the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory.
This position is to perform or assist in complex and technical tasks in efforts to support the various research programs being conducted at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.
Job Responsibilities

To perform and assist with performing sample analysis by Mass Spectrometry

Collect, access and process samples according to laboratory protocol
-
Prepare supplies and specimens for shipping

Perform maintenance on equipment
-
Coordinate sample collections and assist with efforts for various research programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a natural or physical science or related field, math proficiency, strong communication and computer skills, and excellent attention to detail.
