A growth stage biotech company is looking for a Research Associate to support drug development projects in their molecular development department. This company recently received $50 million in funding and is developing ground-breaking medicine technology. - Developing and implementing molecular and cell based assays in support of drug development.
- Responsible for DNA/RNA production and QC.
- Plans, execute and analyze experiments under minimal supervision, utilizing molecular techniques
- Execution of RNA/ DNA isolation, PCR, ELISA assays and additional molecular biology work
- Perform DNA quality control and documentation.
- Developing and troubleshooting various bio-assays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or Chemistry a related field.
- At least 1+ years of academic or experience in industry.
- Experience with cloning, plasmids, nucleic acid, NGS, High-Throughput screening, Library design/prep.
- Flow Cytometry is required
