This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Tolleson, AZ.
THE OPPORTUNITIES
The Regional Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting schedules and supporting branch and regional administration including accounts payable clerks, sales coordinators, and reception.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly reviews, manages, and provides commentary on all region/branch accounting schedules
- Reviews supplier recs with accounts payable and ensures reconciliations are kept tidy
- Reviews, investigates, and resolves items on region/branch bank reconciliations
- Ensures all region/branch intercompany transactions are posted accurately
- Resubmits aged Paccar Fleet Billing claims
- Counts and reconciles petty cash and float on a weekly basis
- Supports and covers accounts payable clerks when required
- Relieves Sales Coordinator during vacation or extended absences
- Reviews and posts deal files as necessary
- Provides coverage for reception as required
- Other duties may be assigned
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- University or college degree in business administration, accounting, or financial management
- Three years related experience and/or training
- Intermediate accounting knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to proactively problem-solve and think logically
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, helpful and cheerful with branch personnel
- Ability to self-manage time and priorities
- Accountability and dependability
