Recruiter for Security Guards / Security Personnel Job at Confidential Priviately-Held Company

Company is a provider of security professionals in line with our client's highest expectations, is seeking a recruiter to source our professional staff and support our recruiting process. Position involves going to our regional branch offices in downstate New York and in New Jersey using our Company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Source Management:

o Job Postings: Draft / review job postings designed to attract qualified candidates in line with Wisdom Protective job posting standards.

o Source: Post jobs on appropriate job board(s) and other places that attract a diverse group of qualified candidates (LinkedIn etc., college sites, law enforcement sites).

o Monitor: Set budgets on recruiting costs and monitor to keep costs within budget.

o Applicant Tracking: Track applicants and their dispositions.·

Screening & Recruiting:

o Pre-screen: Conduct prescreening calls with candidates to assess their suitability for the role (availability, qualifications (skills, experience, training)).

o Recruit: Conduct pre-screening calls to identify promising candidates. Encourage interested candidates who meet our criteria to join Wisdom.

o Schedule: Schedule follow up in person interviews with hiring managers and/or other stakeholders.

o Candidate Communication: Brief candidates on interview expectations: what to expect, what the hiring manager is looking for (e.g., in terms of presentation (dress), work ethic) and what to bring with them.

o Regular Travel: Travel to the Wisdom Offices in the NYC Tristate area for in person interviews and hiring.

Follow Up:

o Candidates: Timely respond to candidate inquiries. If candidate is not selected, communicate the disposition and advise if we will consider for future openings.

o Managers: Follow up regularly with internal stakeholders regarding open searches and candidate status. Maintain information regarding the selection process in candidate spreadsheets or alternative method.

o Selected Candidates: Once candidate is selected, ensure that all functions & stakeholders are notified of the hire and obtain all onboarding documentation.

Requirements:

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record (must submit a lifetime driving abstract)

· Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment.

· Excellent communications skills - understand/communicate clearly in English
(read, speak, write)

Prior recruitment experience, particularly in the security or law enforcement area, and familiarity with the enterprise side of Indeed, a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
