Receptionist Job at R+L Global Logistics
Receptionist responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answering and directing telephone calls and email correspondence from/to our customers and internal/external business partners
- Provide administrative support for the Carrier Relations, logistics sales and operations teams
- Verification, scanning, imaging, and follow-up of documentation regarding carrier compliance
- Data entry, process, preparation, and reconciliation of paperwork, and invoices
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with our partner carriers’
- Foster strong and positive communication between internal and external customers
- Other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as internet applications
- 2+ years’ customer service, front desk reception or administrative office experience
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to answer and route multiple phone calls while staying on task
- Ability to investigate customer concerns and solve them in a timely manner
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing unmatched customer service
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish a plus
- Previous domestic or international logistics or transportation experience a plus Previous McLeod freight management software experience a
