As a Quality Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Setting up and operating automated Quality equipment, perform Quality Control (QC) measurements and optical inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Working in a flexible work environment with varying process equipment assignments
- Creating Center Production Reporting and quality data entry
- Training new employees on equipment as needed
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
- One (1) year of general laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environment (chemistry, biology, pharmacy, etc.)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Technical Diploma in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
- Certification(s) such as: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Technician or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving / analysis skills to operate and troubleshoot equipment as well as improve processes
- Experience in quality control procedures and testing
- Experience with computer reporting of quality data entry
- Strong verbal communication in a team setting
Travel: Not anticipated at this time
