Our client is looking for an onsite Quality Control Technician for a direct hire position in Warren, New Jersey.

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

• Compare and confirms component parts and assemblies against documented requirements
• May train other inspectors or assemblers as directed.
• Read Blue Prints and inspects to tolerances of +/- .0001”.
• Follows MIL-STD 105 and application of AQL inspection levels.
• Performs visual and magnification inspection of components assuring that all dimensions are in accordance with applicable drawing/specifications.
• Assures all specifications are met and critical features are inspected in accordance with the appropriate inspection criteria.
• Enters jobs into SAP as required.
• Communicates with production and quality personnel to maintain good workflow.
• Performs inspection of component parts and assemblies against documented requirements.
• Performs all other relevant duties as assigned.

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

• Covid Vaccination must be fully effective prior to start date - medical/religious exemptions will be considered
• Associates degree (AA) required, in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline is ideal
• ASQ Certified Inspector or Auditor a plus
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality oriented role within a manufacturing environment (Certified to ISO, AS, or IATF preferred)
• Understanding of AS9100 is a plus.
