Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally! Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Purchasing Manager position. This position is located at the Corporate Services Center in Fort Washington, PA.

In this role, you will be responsible to follow sound and prudent purchasing procedures in vendor selection, preparation and solicitation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs), utilization of value analysis techniques, awarding agreements for supplies, equipment and services, including capital purchases, maintenance, and development projects. Develops and maintains strong relationships with community staff and suppliers.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of five years’ procurement experience with competitive bidding and RFQ preparation and analysis, supplier relationship management, and category management is required
  • Specific experience in maintenance supplies and services and/or life safety procurement are ideal
