Job Summary:
As the Lead, Channel Programs, you will design, develop, implement and manage channel incentive programs to accelerate the achievement of Chamberlain Group's business objectives of revenue, profit, volume, and strategic initiatives. You will support the development of channel programs lifecycle management strategy and roadmap. You will create financial models and operational plans to introduce, transition and phase-out channel programs. In this role, you will generate financial models (P&L / ROI) to proactively demonstrate the cost of channel programs, promotions, incentives, warranty programs, and their impact on sales and profitability. You will lead and own the implementation of channel programs including the development of launch plans, timelines, and communication plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years in Sales and / or Marketing
  • 5+ years developing or implementing channel programs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience within the Consumer / Durable Goods industry
  • Experience with IoT products
  • Project management certification
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and manage channel incentive programs to accelerate the achievement of Chamberlain Group’s business objectives of revenue, profit, volume and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with channel marketing, product marketing, sales and finance functions to get input for the development of channel programs.
  • Support the development of a channel programs lifecycle management strategy and roadmap. Create financial models and operational plans to introduce, transition and phase-out channel programs.
  • Generate financial models (P&L / ROI) to proactively demonstrate the cost of channel programs, promotions, incentives, warranty programs and their impact on sales and profitability.
  • Lead and own the implementation of channel programs including the development of launch plans, timelines and communication plans. Deliver programs on budget and schedule.
  • Design and deploy operational processes, systems, and technology needed to support and manage channel programs.
  • Own and manage day to day operation and support of channel programs including enabling of customer support organization.
  • Create internal and external program documents, marketing collateral, and partner communication materials to clearly define program benefits, requirements, value proposition, rules of engagement, and terms and conditions.
  • Partner with channel communications, sales enablement and marketing functions to create comprehensive plans to communicate channel programs to internal and external audiences. Develop and track success of program communication efforts.
  • Define and track financial and non-financial key performance metrics to measure success of channel programs and partner engagement. Communicate results and develop improvement plans to reach set goals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive ongoing channel programs and incentives competitive analysis to strategically position Chamberlain Group to be aligned or exceed competitive programs and offerings. Develop and lead implementation of action plans to address unexpected challenges.
  • Design, implement, and manage mechanisms to collect sales and channel partners' feedback for program improvement.
  • Partner with Sales Analytics and Finance functions to develop a view of total benefits driven by partner programs at individual account and territory levels.
  • This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Sales Operations function.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% in North America.
