Who we are and what we do:

We are a fourth-generation small, locally owned, family bakery baking cherry pie from the original family recipe for over 60 years! We are expanding into a brand-new production facility and bakery in Windsor, Colorado! We make all our bakery and savory items from scratch, with butter and love. We are seeking a multi-tasking, high energy individual with a passion for quality and a knack for business to run daily operations and help us grow our small business.

What you will be doing:

*75% or more of the Bakery Managers time will be spent along side crew members producing product.*

  • Monitoring the quality of products being produced by production employees.
  • Coordinating with other managers to schedule deliveries of baked goods to different locations
  • Conducting training sessions on new products or equipment that have been added to the store’s offerings
  • Managing human resources functions such as interviewing new employees and hiring qualified candidates
  • Ensuring that the bakery meets all health codes and regulations regarding food preparation and storage
  • Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure they are available when needed
  • Training employees on proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety

Who we are looking for:

Leadership: We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, which they use to motivate their team and ensure they meet production goals and quality standards. As a bakery manager, you may be responsible for hiring and training new employees, so effective leadership skills can help you develop a strong team.

Communication: As the bakery manager, you will be responsible for communicating with employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Can keep accurate production records, reported in a timely fashion.

Organization: As a bakery manager, you should be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment. You should also be able to organize your time effectively to ensure completion of all daily tasks.

Problem-solving: The Bakery manager is responsible for ensuring their team completes all tasks in a timely manner. They may also be responsible for ensuring their team works well together and has a positive work environment.

Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of progressive management in a high-volume production kitchen, restaurant or commissary. Demonstrated knowledge of baking and production processes and proper ingredient handling. ServSafe Certification a huge plus!

Salary Range $22.00-27.00 Benefits: Insurance, simple 401K, employee discounts, accrued sick pay.
