CommScope’s Steel and Structures business, is looking to add a Product Manager to support our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be located in the Richardson, TX area but is open to virtual for the right applicant.

Reporting to our Director of Product Line Management, this role is responsible for the management of a diverse set of products under our Steel product line which is focused on providing products to the telecommunications industry as well as related business management .

Here, you will maintain and build the business, enthusiastically articulating plans to customers and senior management, and crafting and driving to achieve market share objectives though product development.

You will also develop product definition including price, cost and performance objectives, reliability and functional features, manufacturability, and life cycle forecasts. Including leveraging sales channels to distribute products to targeted markets / customers.

A key responsibility of this position is to write clear product requirement documents, manage the product backlog, and work effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, project managers, engineering, sales, and customer support.

Engagement is key, as you will work with the partners and end customers to understand their needs and translate them to solution offerings via product releases. Monitors industry trends impacting the product and derive key insights for presentation to all levels of the organization and customer audience.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• A completed Bachelor's Degree with 2 plus years of successful product management in related industry or equivalent experience
• Outstanding interpersonal skills - verbal and written – able to capture relevant information and optimally document and articulate findings to all levels of an organization.
• Advanced proficiency in competing tasks and handling interruptions concurrently.
• The ability to quickly build new relationships, navigate complex organizations and influence multiple partners.
• Self-Starter/Proactive

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• A completed Master's Degree.
• Have familiarity with technologies and business dynamics associated with Small Cell, Wireless Steel products, and direct experience in those fields.
• Experience working in complex environments with multiple decision-makers and influencers.
• Proven track record of growing organizations
• SAP fluency
• Engineering or Manufacturing knowledge

Salary Range: $84,000.00 - $130,300.00
