Prep/Cashier - full and part time schedule available Job at Creative Dining Services
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Prep Cook/Cashier. The Prep Cook works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary, including cashier duties during meal service.
No nights or weekends!
All Saints Academy is a K-12 school. Shifts would be Monday - Friday (with the exception of a Part-Time position), 7:00am to 3:00pm
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare food such that all food is ready for use within the established timeframe.
- Prepares food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
- Supports other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
- Puts away/Pulls stock as needed.
- Cashier will follow proper cash handling procedures and ensure accurate accounting of all transactions during work shift.
- Communicate with our guests and students in a friendly manner.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year food service experience preferred
- ServSafe Certification
- Cash handling experience
