Pharmacists - Long Term Care Job at Ozark LTC Rx
Ozark LTC Rx is seeking an experienced staff/consulting pharmacist for both full time and part time opportunities. Ozark LTC Rx is positioned for significant growth and provides a great environment for a career in pharmacy.
Who you are:
- Seasoned decision maker intent on going the extra mile to provide well informed decisions and consulting to clients and LTC facilities
- Accountable critical thinker
- Self-starter Pharmacist which balances working with team members and thorough customer service
- PhD or Pharm D, required; Active Missouri Pharmacist License (Must be in good standing)
What you do:
- Manages workflow processes to ensure quality assurance, security and disposal of drugs in a medication packaging environment (bubble packs).
- Collaborates with and directs pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Communicates, resolves issues, and answers questions from facilities, patients, referral sources, and insurance companies
- Reviews prescriptions and orders issued by prescriber to assure accuracy and checks all orders filled by technicians
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41.00 - $73.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bonne Terre, MO 63628: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- Licensed Pharmacist (Preferred)
